DIY: Break the top of an old light bulb (this one is Glöda from IKEA), and remove everything inside it. Keep the light bulb holder. Put something like foam rubber where the light bulb and opening is going to be. Then put the pendant/light bulb holder in the empty light bulb glass with the foam rubber facing down. Push it downwards well, so that there is no air between the foam rubber and the light bulb glass. Then fill the light bulb with concrete (I used mortar). When the concrete is stiffened (but not too much), break the light bulb glass. Remove the foam rubber and adjust the light bulb opening if it's too small. Make the the top by using the light bulb holder and put it around the wire, tape it, and fill it with concrete. When it is stiffened, take it off. Voilá! You have just made your own Tove Adman Lamp!

Så fantastisk fin lampe!
Fekk veldig lyst å prøva å laga ei slik ei sjøl. Men syns oppskrifta er vanskeleg å forstå... Oversatte oppskrifta med google oversetter:
Break toppen av en gammel lyspære (dette er Glöda fra IKEA), og fjerne alt inni den. Hold lyspæren holderen. Sett noe som skumgummi der lyspæren og åpning skal være. Deretter satte den hengende / lyspære holder i det tomme lyspæren glass med skumgummi vendt nedover. Skyv den nedover bra, slik at det ikke er luft mellom skumgummi og lyspæren glasset. Deretter fyller lyspæren med betong (jeg brukte mørtel). Når betongen er stivnet (men ikke for mye), break lyspæren glasset. Fjern skumgummi og justere lyspæren åpningen hvis det er for liten. Gjør toppen ved hjelp av lys pære holderen og la den rundt wire, tape den, og fylle den med betong. Når det er stivnet, ta den av. Voila! Du har nettopp laget din egen Tove reklamemannen lampe!

so I think I have understood the way to do it. Correct me if I am wrong :) You choose a big lightbulb, cause you are using the inside of the bulb to shape the lamp? You take out everything inside the bulb and separate the....silvercoloured bulbholder. You use foam to fill up the bulb with the room you need for the lightbulb (smaller/normal lightbulb) and press it down so that concrete will not fill up the opening. Now you have a glassbulb filled with foam and it's time to pour in the concrete. You wait for it to stiffen, but not too much (what's the timeline here??) cause you need to be able to adjust/widen the opening in case it's to small to get a light bulb in. You smash the glass of the lightbulb and take it off. At this point you have a hole at the bottom and a smaller hole at the top. You want to close up the top hole. So you get the wire that's gonna be inside the lamp permanently and pull it through the hole. This part is a bit confusing to me. You put the silvercoloured bulbholder that you separated from the lightbulb on top with the thin side up, can you pull the wire through it? And you tape it, but how do you keep the concrete from filling up the inside of the lamp, tape there too? What kind of tape will stick to concrete? Hmm, now the bit question, have I got it, or have I REALLY not got it :))
